Yo!! Happy New Year!
It'll be some time before Aidan and his aunt meet again. Hopefully by that time aunt can still recognize his face =)
Of course, holidays to Aidan doesn't mean much, as he always goes through the same routine every day. That is ...
Eat and burp ...
Wet and have this diaper changed ...
Sleep ...
And more sleep.
One thing we're truly thankful is that Aidan is pretty healthy. And he constantly gains weight. And he's not shy showing off his 9 lbs 4 oz body. =P
When I said he's not shy, that's because he had just finished his meal and pretty satisfied. Otherwise, he'd be screaming crazily just like every time we change his diaper or clothes. =D
Another thing that we're trying to get Aidan into routine is his tummy time.
He's getting better at it these days. But he certainly needs some encouragement and comfort from time to time.
However, we can't get this activity going consistently because we're always busy trying to satisfy his other needs.
As 2009 begins, Aidan and we also discover something new. Since Aidan can see further now, he just discovered there's a hand made decor by mommy's dad when mommy was still a teenager. And that is a model of Star Trek which we hang onto the ceiling of Aidan's bedroom (which was used to be mommy's working room).
And whenever we rotates this model, Aidan will be VERY fascinated,
and he will stare at it with tremendous laughter.
This is actually not a coincident. We've proven it with multiple trials. And it works EVERY SINGLE time!! So his laughter is not only because of farting. =D
Although he still doesn't make any noise when he laughs, such facial expression always brings joy in our family!
