Wow... It's almost a month since I updated my blog. Time really really flies. There are many reason why I got slow down froming updating the blog; job hunting, studying, games, etc. But the most impacting factor in my opinion (my wife may disagree. =P) is winter ...
I got a flu and it took me more than a week to recover, and I'm still coughing because of my sensitive throat ... sigh.
Got sick never be that torturing before, because we now have this new member in the family.
When Aidan is looking at me like that, how can I resist?
There were countless times when I had to force myself to NOT hold or play with him. I can only take pictures from afar while mommy had the luxuary of kissing him.
Anyway, Aidan is now more than 2 months old. I have to thank God that he's still gaining weight consistently. He should be more than 13 lbs by now. Below are his fat 'funny' toes. =)
All the food and nurturing is certainly not a waste! Aidan has become more responsive. I remember from my last post where he only smile when farting or staring at the decor in my bedroom. But now, he gives us that incredible cute smile whenever we play with him.
This no doubt is the greatest reward from him. =D
Now that Aidan is not as fragile as before, I can try to sit him up on the sofa, longer.
And mommy can also use this brief but pleasures time to take pictures with Aidan, before he eventually slides back down to his lying position. =P
I have more opportunities to observe Aidan closely nowadays. And I've noticed his most joyful moment is always his wake up moments in the morning. I can easily get this in such situation!
And this!
Also this! =D
Not that we can't get a smile during the day. But we'd have to work on it. An example would be mommy playing with Aidan in the afternoon.
If we hit a magic moment with him, we'll be rewarded with something like this ...
But we also have a risk of tiring him out too. =P
Grandma and grandpa get smarter in picking their time to visit too. They now pay a visit earlier during the day so Aidan is not sleepy and close his eyes on them. =P
So Aidan now also has a chance to know his grandparents!
During Chinese new year, Aidan finally had his first visit to his grandparents' house. It's a milestone for him.
And in a much cleaner and organized place, it's a great chance to take some family portraits. Below is one with grannies and Aidan only.
This is the one with 3 generations. Everyone, the Chan's family!! hee hee... =D
OK, that's it for now. I better get cleaned up now for my finance and investment training. =)
More of Aidan to come in the very near future!
