A 3 months old Aidan

Time flied by really quick.  Aidan is 3 months old now.

He becomes more chubby everyday.  And his laughter becomes cuter too, especially when daddy or mommy plays with him.

Just this Tuesday, his weight is 13 lbs and 4 oz.

With a chubby body, Aidan can now anchor his little butt on mommy easier.

Of course, he still needs assistance to sit still.  =P

Grannies also paid their weekly visit while providing food supply to us.

Without them, Aidan will certainly lose his entertainment from his parents. =)

BTW, Aidan's milestone is like clock work.  Just the day before he's 3 months old, he still had difficulty in his tummy time.

But right at his 3 months milestone, he magically past through those hurdles during tummy time.

Below is one of his tummy time sessions.  I really can't pick the best one, as he has too much facial expression in each of the picture. =P

Another BB gathering

There was another baby gathering last Friday.  It'll probably be the last baby gathering that I could participate, as I'm going to start my new job next week.  Those of you who can't see the slideshow from facebook, it's in http://tcsanctuary.blogspot.com/2009/02/another-bb-gathering.html

That means, I'd have to miss this cute face during the day.

Looking at the bright side, I'll have steady income to sustain the photo journey of Aidan. =P

Below are the relatively new collection of Aidan, for your view, and for filling my void during office hour. =P

By the way, we're actually start to get Aidan to read now.

And in return, he gave us his shooting stream of puke. =P

Hopefully, this is not because of his lack of interesting in reading.

Family dinner

Not only there was a baby gathering last week, we also had a chance to have dinner with a couple of families.

Since me and my friends love photography, we must seize the opportunity to take family portraits for one another.  And also seize the opportunity to play with light too. =)

So there it is ...

The W. family...

The C. family...

And my family too. =)

There was another family in the dinner too.  But we were taking pictures too late at night.  So we have to leave it for next time. =P

Baby Gathering

So many things going on these days and it's getting difficult to find time updating the blog.  Even with 3 posts today, I'm still catching up... =P

So this is another chance for Aidan to bundle up with his street clothes.

Last week we had the first baby gathering among moms who are on mat leaves.  It's a joyful occasion for moms getting together for sharing and support.

And as the only male during the gathering most of the time, I got to go around taking pictures.

So here are Aidan's friends.  (BTW, you won't see Aidan too much as he spent most of his time sleeping during the gathering) =D

Mixture of pictures

Aidan becomes more responsive as time goes by.  My recent 'very long' vacation is certainly a blessing in a way.  As my wife put it beautifully, it's 'Blessing in Disguise'.

For me, I certainly have more time taking picture of Aidan.  And as he becomes more responsive, there are more story in the picture that I've taken.

Here mommy makes her first connection with Aidan when he wakes up...

And there the first smile in the morning.

Not only Aidan can now identify people, he also comes to realize the concept of toys.

Looking at his naughty face, I instantly recognize the original of this particular trait ... me.  =P

That's right.  Aidan is in daddy's team.  =)  Unfortunately, this maybe the one and only occasion where Aidan will dress up this 'uniform'.  That's because he's growing up so fast that after only wearing his uniform once, he already out grown it.  =P

This certainly is a lesson for daddy and mommy that we should take Aidan out more and dress him up as often as we can, before he out grow all of his street clothes.

This picture is actually taken before we head out to church.  I couldn't resist of not taking this one, especially when Aidan is sleeping in his bear jacket with both of his arms are sticking out.  I have to be in awe of how he can actually sleep in such posture. =P

Canadian hot spring for baby

It's located in my house.  This luxurious hot spring offers irresistible bathing service for the only baby in the house.

And the only customer certainly enjoys being served.

Thank you mommy for taking the pictures while the daddy provides the service. =)

After a month of absence

Wow... It's almost a month since I updated my blog.  Time really really flies.  There are many reason why I got slow down froming updating the blog;  job hunting, studying, games, etc.  But the most impacting factor in my opinion (my wife may disagree. =P) is winter ...

I got a flu and it took me more than a week to recover, and I'm still coughing because of my sensitive throat ... sigh.

Got sick never be that torturing before, because we now have this new member in the family.

When Aidan is looking at me like that, how can I resist?

There were countless times when I had to force myself to NOT hold or play with him.  I can only take pictures from afar while mommy had the luxuary of kissing him.

Anyway, Aidan is now more than 2 months old.  I have to thank God that he's still gaining weight consistently.  He should be more than 13 lbs by now.  Below are his fat 'funny' toes. =)

All the food and nurturing is certainly not a waste!  Aidan has become more responsive.  I remember from my last post where he only smile when farting or staring at the decor in my bedroom.  But now, he gives us that incredible cute smile whenever we play with him.

This no doubt is the greatest reward from him.  =D

Now that Aidan is not as fragile as before, I can try to sit him up on the sofa, longer.

And mommy can also use this brief but pleasures time to take pictures with Aidan, before he eventually slides back down to his lying position. =P

I have more opportunities to observe Aidan closely nowadays.  And I've noticed his most joyful moment is always his wake up moments in the morning.  I can easily get this in such situation!

And this!

Also this! =D

Not that we can't get a smile during the day.  But we'd have to work on it.  An example would be mommy playing with Aidan in the afternoon.

If we hit a magic moment with him, we'll be rewarded with something like this ...

But we also have a risk of tiring him out too. =P

Grandma and grandpa get smarter in picking their time to visit too.  They now pay a visit earlier during the day so Aidan is not sleepy and close his eyes on them.  =P

So Aidan now also has a chance to know his grandparents!

During Chinese new year, Aidan finally had his first visit to his grandparents' house.  It's a milestone for him.

And in a much cleaner and organized place, it's a great chance to take some family portraits.  Below is one with grannies and Aidan only.

This is the one with 3 generations.  Everyone, the Chan's family!!  hee hee... =D

OK, that's it for now.  I better get cleaned up now for my finance and investment training.  =)

More of Aidan to come in the very near future!
