Put Him into Perspective

I still remember the time when Aidan was fed on bottle, where I have lots of opportunities to take full length shots of him. 

But since Reily isn’t that rely on bottle, this kind of shots are precious to me!  Gosh, I miss that so much!  That really reveals his tiny size compares to mommy.  Oops, that doesn’t mean mommy is big. =P

Well, at least he’s not ‘that’ small compares to Aidan.  Boy, has Aidan grown!

By the way, Aidan, this is a snapshot of how you ‘wink’ at 2 years old.  Now we have this on record!  And you are always daddy and mommy’s cute little boy!

Oh! Christmas Tree!

With the help of Aidan, we finally have our Christmas tree up!

This is the first year Aidan involved in helping.  But with his height limitation, you can imagine where all the decoration is concentrated. =P

But anyway, after a hard afternoon of ‘work’, Aidan enjoyed his new found favorite snack.

And of course, enjoying his accomplishment, after Daddy’s intensive enhancement. =D

Hopefully Reily and mommy will be available to help next year!  That’d certainly fulfill mommy and my dream of a ‘happy family’!  =D

Speaking of Reily, I’m really glad that he is gaining his weight steadily.

Thank you mommy for her superb dedication to the family!  xxxxxooxxo!  And I sincerely hope Reily loves to eat, just like his brother…

Yeah, this little guy just doesn’t stop snacking, even when he’s at the clinic. =P

Target Practice

I just love taking pictures!  And the fact that Reily is now less swollen and is now more willing to reveal his eyes just makes me so much exciting!  =)

And now that he’s getting a little older, I just LOVE capturing his expressions.

This honestly is how I keep my skills sharp to capture all moments of my couples.

Enjoying The First Snow

Our first snowfall this year.  Who’s the happiest in my family?

I’m glad I’m on vacation (even though it’s a labor intensive and sleepless one), so I can have some fun with Aidan in the snow.

He’s enjoying so much that he’s almost willing to skip lunch.  Poor daddy was standing and kneeling still to capture his expression in the cold, with runny nose.  But well, it’s worth it. =D

Hmm … I guess he’s too young to make his own snow angel. =P

Something more ‘Official’

One reason I named this blog TCSanctuary is to have a personal space for me to share some of my work and fun in life to others, and also to express some of my thoughts freely to my friends…

When Aidan was still a newborn, I still remember there was a studio offering a ‘free’ newborn in-house session.  Well, as it turns out, they request us to pay $200 just for getting back 10 small prints of their mediocre template shots, or they’ll destroy the prints and files immediately.  Now that’s one example of how business will make profit by taking advantage of parents’ love to their children (of course, not a good example).  And that’s one of the major driving factors why I strive to become a better photographer myself so others don’t suffer what I experienced. =)

Anyway, as the title suggested, below are something a little more official for Reily, and mommy.  Enjoy!  =)

Hey friends, let me know if you or your friends want some too. =)  I promise you won’t spend a huge chunk of $$ for 10 small prints of some mediocre template shots. =P

Some Very Busy Days

They say that mom with 2 boys has special place in Heaven.  Oh boy, I couldn’t agree more!  And I wish mommy can spare that little attic in that special place when my time comes. =P

It turns out Reily is one little demanding frequent but small eater, who needs to be fed more than once every hour during the night.  And with the different surprises and incidents happened the past couple of days, a moment like this is extremely welcoming.

Now that Reily is 5 days old, he’s capable of a ‘little’ more expressions.  And that’s very good news for me, as I can capture every single one of them. =D

Oh BTW, the pink background is merely mommy’s clothes.  Reily is actually a boy, in case you’re still not sure.  OK, here, another ‘blue’ background, just to confirm it. =D

This morning we actually had our little family outing to the clinic, where Reily had his first doctor appointment.

Mommy told me Aidan cries EVERY time he went to his doctor, the same one seeing Reily.  I guess being not a patient this time helped him enjoying his doctor visiting experience in the future.  And look, a little fun of him giving me an expression in front of the camera!  =)

Our first weekend with a new kid

Honestly, I didn’t even realize it’s already weekend, with all the sleepless nights from mommy and myself.  Not until grannies pay a visit in the morning.  And of course, Aidan is the happiest fella enjoying his own movie clip taken by grandpa.  =)

And as for daddy and mommy, we’re now back to the routine of constant feeding, cleaning and no sleep cycle.  And Reily is doing a good job keeping us VERY busy.

Even though Aidan has contributed in our busy schedule, he has been relatively helpful in behaving himself …

and occasionally bringing toys to Reily. =)

It seems to us that Reily cries more and requires more attention than Aidan used to be, so seeing this is a very welcome scene!

And that of course allows me to take more pictures. =P

Mommy actually thinks that Reily does look a bit like Aidan.  But I’ll let you be the judge on that.

But anyway, our peaceful period doesn’t last long at all.  Our baby care SWAT team just need to jump back to work immediately when the signal is sounded!
