Chunky

Temperature has been great in Toronto for the past 2 weeks.  It's truly enjoyable and mommy told me she actually had a chance to take Aidan out for a walk.  Same time last year it was so cold.  But on the contrary, we didn't bundle up Aidan as much as people have recommended.  That's because Aidan spent most of his time in a car seat. 


Ironically, temperature this year is not as cold as last year.  But compare to last year, we added so much more clothing to Aidan, on top of his already chubby body.





I love below the most, look at him, look at him ....





... so much 'meat'.  All I can think of when I see my son sleeping peacefully at that moment is ... Chunky!  Yummy! =P

Obsessed with light

It's been quite busy for the past few days as I was preparing my sample book for this year.  I'll post some examples when it's ready. =)


I definitely can't say I"m a morning person, as I like to work late and love my sleep.  But every weekend morning I'm always refreshed to see my son playing on the carpet, figuring things out.





As an bonus, I truly enjoy the winter sunlight on him.  I guess that's one advantage of relatively late sunrise.





So regardless of how lack of sleep I am the night before, I just can't hide my camera whenever I see the his fluffy hair glows.





Oh yeah, you now see how my living room has become his palace of toys and books.  Look at Aidan the mighty smiter, with a hammer!! =D


BTW, the red dot on this clothes, it's just strawberries, don't worry. =P

Capturing moments

I treasure every opportunity where I can capture the moments of my love ones.

And watching my son growing to become more capable of interacting with the world and people around him ...

... always give me fixed feelings.

On one hand, I'm proud and happy to see him grows everyday.  And tremendous thanks to mommy who has been awesome of taking care of Aidan (and me =P).

On the other hand, it feels like I'm losing his baby times which flied by so quickly.  I know I've taken tons of pictures to preserve the moments,

But it just doesn't seem enough. =)

A change in New Year

When I first created this blog, I wanted to share with everyone about my life and the camera through my eyes.  It turns out serving part of the purpose, as it's extensively documenting my little one's first year life journey.  







So new year comes with new (or renewed) resolution.  So on top of sharing my life thru pictures, I'll also share my joy in my involvement of wedding work.  First of all, you'll notice the title of the blog has been changed, as it is now consistent to my 'official' wedding photography site,http://www.timelessmoment.ca


Those of us who are following Aidan's progress, don't worry, I'm sure he'll still have plenty of 'air time'.  





Because he and mommy, is still the BIG part of my life. =)
