Another Father and Son(s) Moment

I thank God that we had such beautiful weather for the past 2 weeks.  It’s awesome to see nature is back to live again!  And last Sunday marked another ‘first’ for me. This is the first time the father bring BOTH kids to the park, alone!  Round of applauds please!!! =P

Here Reily, going berserk on a new found pot in the park…

IMG_20120325171536

and he just can’t stop running around running around the park with the pot!

Being a hardworking labor, Aidan was doing what he does best!

IMG_20120325172607

Aww … it was such a touching moment for me.  Aidan is sharing his fun with Reily!!!

IMG_20120325172443

This was just so much fun to watch!  Another kid came to the park trying to conquer the slide … upward.  Without hesitation, introduction, or any word, Aidan joined in and both of them just kept doing it and laughed so hard together.  Man, really gotta appreciate the pure innocence of younglings!

And while Reily was enjoying the texture of sand …

IMG_20120325173619

He found another party was underway … a project of burying a soccer ball.  To Reily, it’s not the project that got his attention, it’s the mere presense of the soccer ball. The moment he saw the scene, he was whispering “ball ball … ball ball”.

IMG_20120325174010

And guess who ultimately join the party? =)

IMG_20120325174046

It’s just so much fun to stand aside and observe.  The objective of their “project” is to bury the ball.  The older kids were using buckets of sand to bury it.  Aidan being a guest to the project, he used his little shovel and pour the tiny portion of sand into the bucket so the bigger kids can proceed with their main goal.  =P

Reily was nowhere bored when his brother was enjoying his sand party.  He just kept running around and finally got the attention of the laaaaaddyy… Way to go Reily. =P

One of my favorite moment of the day.

IMG_20120325175951

Our little one hour outing was just so much fun!  Everyone had their moment.  And being a father, I was able to play with them and capture the moments at the same time!  It felt AWESOME!!!  And yes, when it came to dinner time, a father instantly transformed into a slave porter and dragged them back home for further feeding. =)

A Father and Son Moment

Now that’s more like it!!  After an underdress and cold Maple Syrup Festival, we finally have a fantastic day!  Given a little let down weather from yesterday, I’m on a mission today to have some more fun at the park with Aidan. =)

IMG_20120318172610

Since mommy is busy at home, Reily is on bench today.  Owwwww … it’s ok Reily, daddy will bring you both next time, if I can manage both of you while taking some shots. =)

IMG_20120318172306

One thing certainly is different when there is a Dad and son alone time is that there is no snack!  So Aidan can now concentrate on playing. =P

IMG_20120318173910

Now get to work man!  There there … 2 more tons of dirt to transfer! =P

IMG_20120318180743

One of Aidan’s special requests is asking me to go on slide with him, something I certainly have no problem fulfilling.  Message me if you want to know how I manage to slide with my kid and with my camera on. =)

Just LOVE watching my kid being kid!  To be honest, some of other kids’ conversation from the park freaks me out a little.  They’re not that much older than Aidan, but they’re already talking about someone is having a crush on some other kid’s brother.  So yes, pine cones are cute and precious Aidan, pick them up!! =P

OK OK, Reily actually didn’t miss out that much.  Here is the proof of our whole family having another fun moment last week, with mommy’s help of course. =)

Observational learning!

Maple Syrup Festival

Spring is coming.  We had such wonderful temperature for the past week, and the coming week.  But not for today, not for the day of our annual family trip to the Maple Syrup Festival!  Luckily mom has the vision of dress our kid warm.  Me on the other hand, I was way underdress. =P

The cutest and youngest goat of the day, and the kids are loving it!

IMG_20120317123143

Oh, and mommy loves them too.

IMG_20120317105745IMG_20120317123053

Some friends we bumped into. =)

IMG_20120317105818

Aidan’s annual pony ride started last year actually.  It touches me whenever I saw him enjoying his moment with his mom.

IMG_20120317111035

And we patiently wait for our wagon ride, with our friends. =)

IMG_20120317112849IMG_20120317112544

And certainly, who are we to not have a taste of maple syrup during the festival? =)

IMG_20120317115921

This hasn’t struck me as dramatically as today.  Man, my kids LOVE to snack.  When everyone else was running around and having fun.  My kids just love to have a world of their own and stick to their snack.  As a photographer who eagers to capture every great moment possible, most of Aidan’s moments involve eating, snack, run a little, and snack again. =P

IMG_20120317120906

See!?

IMG_20120317121207

He just never stop. =D

IMG_20120317122444

And from the look of Reily, I think this trend has past to him too.  Well … as long as they’re happy and healthy, no complains from me! =)

Everyday Fun

It’s been a very action packed time in 2012, on top of working on my own family album (which is tons of fun!!), I spent most of our energy battling disease within my family.  =P  Even though it is nowhere feeling good when you’re sick, but it’s such a valuable reminder for myself to treasure what I have.  It’s definitely killing me to look at the ones that you love and cannot touch or kiss them!

Being with my kids is such a blessing!  They constantly remind me of how the simplest thing can fulfill your life!  Here’s Reily, enjoying his success of breaking my barrier and climb up the stairs …

IMG_20120203184943

and shovelling all the cookie he can into his tiny little mouth!  Look at his satisfaction!

IMG_20120203190603IMG_20120203190620

And of course, Aidan, first thing to do in the morning (you can tell from his hair) is to play with his little DIY playdough …

IMG_20120212105845

… and compose his own song to praise on his own success of making a …

IMG_20120212110557IMG_20120212110601IMG_20120212110602

uhem … I don’t know, maybe you can tell me what it is. =D

IMG_20120212110024

Oh btw … It’s ok not to have snow this winter.  Here’s their idea of indoor tobogganing!  =D
