Why do we fall? So that we can learn how to pick ourselves up! What a great quote from a movie (guess which one it is)! =) And that’s the best quote to describe Aidan’s recent milestone … SKATING LESSON! =D
From his very first lesson, where he fell on the ground … bumped his head on the ground … and cried on the ice ring, to being able to stand up … bring a smile on the ice, and learn to ‘glide’ in snail’s pace, this brings a smile in my heart too! At the same time, I can’t help but missing all the moments I had with him when he was little … so little that I can wrap him in one arm, and sleep with him on the sofa. My son, I’m glad that you’re experiencing the Canadian lifestyle!!
A happy son and his proud father. OK, the father didn’t have breakfast, and his skates was killing his feet (It’s been more than 10 years since I put on the skates)! =P
Gliding … measuring in centimeter! BTW, can you find mom in this picture? =P
That’s the expression of a boy seeking encouragement.
And the expression of a boy having fun!
No worries, daddy is here. Now … get up! =)
Oh, this year also marks a very special Winter season. It’s been some time since we have that much snow. And who am I to miss this opportunity! =)
