A 3 weeks old Aidan

It's hard to believe Aidan is already 3 weeks old. And our schedule seems to be proportional to his age.

On top of our daily chore, our hourly task is all revolving around Aidan.

The task of 'serving' this little creature mostly involve feeding, burping and changing diaper. As you can see, not very complicated at all. But the frequency of these tasks is unbelievable!

Aidan needs to be fed about every 2 hours, but the time it takes to complete these 3 tasks are about 40-50 minutes. So, just when mommy thinks she has completed this set of tasks, the next set is already knocking the door.

The only good thing we can extract from this frequent and demanding process is his cute expression, especially when he's being burped.

And apparently Aidan still haven't adjusted to the right timezone yet. His quietest moment is still during the day and 'our' prime time. And his 'prime time' is right at our 'down time'. This week he wakes up on an average of 4 times a night, which doesn't allow a mommy to sleep much at all. And mommy is feeling week because of sleep deprivation.

One thing we're thankful is that Aidan is in pretty good health. His recent pediatrician visit shows that he's not 7lb13oz, so he's gaining weight in a healthy rate.

Well, by the look of his happy face when he sees his bottle, I shouldn't worry about him not eating. =P

I hope his growing process is smooth and the health of our family can sustain along the way. That's the most important thing for me, for now.

  1. Good, good. I'm starting to see some chubby fatty rolls... Mmmmmm... Drumsticks...

~12 days until Aidan's aunties and uncle come to help play with him (noticed I said "play" --> We'll just pass him back to you guys when it's time to deal with the poopy diapers and whatnot...). Hang in there. "Help" is on the way! ;)
