As we're getting more used to our 'new' daily life, we're starting to open our house for more visiting starting the past weekend.
And having our friends visiting brings us more warm and intimate feelings which we've enjoyed so much from all these relationships.
One of my close friends, who is now working in Hong Kong, also happened to stop by Toronto from his New York business trip this weekend. It's so nice to have a few chats with long time friends. =)
Sunday was a blast, as we have quite a few of church friends visiting us.
It should be no surprise that my friends are in similar age group or life stage. So my home had instantly turned into a mini-concentration camp of babies and young family. And that is FUN!
You can see an assembly line of feeding;
Mommies chatting session;
Babies of different ages, Katlyn and Brian;

BTW, the bigger baby is last year's production. He's more than a year old now, and he grows cuter every day. =)

And of course, photo sessions of the exhibit itself. =)

If you look carefully, you'll notice how chaotic my home is (I'm charging my phone from the above pictures). I feel sorry for the visitors about the mess. I was laughing so hard when my wife pointed out a sandel around my friend's head! =D

Here's one more exhibit photo from 2 lovely ladies (again, sorry for the power cord at the back =P)!

Oh, that's actually not all the babies presented on Sunday. We also have little Adrian too.

Some candid shots of the families...

One of the parents mentioned it's very hard to get a family portrait because the dad will always be the one holding the camera. And it takes time to setup everything 'wirelessly'. So it's nice to rely on others to take the family portrait for them. Personally, I couldn't agree more!! And I have the honour to take some extra time to make a nice family portrait. =D

I didn't have a chance to take more formal pictures for the other families on Sunday. I trutly hope I'd have another chance in the near future!! =)

AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Look at all the BBs!
ReplyDeleteI always forget how tiny Aidan (and babies in general) is until I see him right next to you guys.
Yeah, do try to have people take some family portraits for you. I can't think of even one family photo of us as babies that actually included Dad because he was always behind the camera! I'll bring my camera while I'm in town too so you'll be in more pictures. ;)
Cool. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI hope I can preserve his relative 'sharp' face in the picture before he blows up a month or two later. =D
