Our Annual Event

Awesome Fall day today!  Great time to spend with my family and have our annual family event … Markham Fair!!  Hmm … speaking of switch, I think we’ve missed it last year because Reily was still two young to go.

So while Aidan is familiar with our “tradition” …

This is Reily’s first!  And look … beautiful pumpkins!  And Reily just picked the most special one!  Well, one that looks like a “bum”. =P

One of the sections of the exhibition features some awesome gingerbread houses.  Although these are completed by 8 – 12 years old, man … it’s definitely something Aidan should look up to!  You can see his version of gingerbread house here. =P

Yes Aidan!  Gingerbread is a bit spicy!  Now get to work for this Christmas! =P

Uhem … now that I looked at it, it does look like his evil military plan was executed successfully … muwahahahaha… =D

Markham Apple Festival

Sometimes it’s just hard to believe temperature can change so quickly.  Three weeks ago, Aidan and Reily were still playing with splash without clothes on.  Today, they’re in jackets!  But that means it’s time for Apples Festival again!

Well, not a very good start for Reily.  Gosh … such a whiny kid!  But to be honest, with all that meat on his face, it’s still quite cute, for the first few minutes. =P

And it’s a delight to have our friends with us!

Now, he has the right to remain SILIENCE!  But obviously, he’s just going to keep talking!

One of the highlights of the festival, apple peeling ‘the old school’ way!

This is no doubt Aidan’s favorite event, as he can enjoy the ‘consequence’ later.

Unlike his brother, who had 2 years experience, this is Reily’s first time doing this.

Well, technically, this can’t count as his first time, as he’s still too short for it.  So mommy will do the honour this time. 

And he surely enjoys the result!  Gotta love watching a chubby kid enjoying his apple while disregarding everything around him!

And now Aidan’s annual train ride! =)

I still remember when Aidan had his first train ride alone last year, he was clueless and just sat there without much reaction.  It’s so touching to see so much difference this year!

I’m sure we’ll have more fun next year, when Reily is one year older and have more fun! =)
